Does anyone remember this childrens book?
It was a childrens poetry book full of humorous poems and limericks (i think the poems had a school theme) I cant remember the name of it, but it was very popular about 13 years ago. It is really bugging me so if anyone can remember it, please let me know! Thanks
it was very popular in UK.

I think I remember something like this, ‘Heard it in the Playground’ by Allan Ahlberg. I think it was a book of poems.
Edit: I’ve just looked up the name Allan Ahlberg, and found he wrote two books of verse… Heard It In The Playground and Please Mrs Butler. They were illustrated by his wife. I recognise both names, so maybe they’re what you’re looking for

Hilaire Belloc published many well known humorous poems and limericks; could it be his work you are thinking of?
